You can reach NAVSARNI, by road rail or plane.
Panjim the capital of Goa is 55 kms away. The nearest airport is Vasco 80 kms in Goa.
If you come by road any bus plying between Goa and Bombay passes Sawantwadi. Get down at the bus terminus and take an auto to Navsarni, behind the jail
and of course don’t forget to pay the auto fare of Rs. 15/- only or if you are health conscious you can have
a nice 15 minutes walk to Navsarni all along the lake, keep walking along the highway for about 50 metres after the lake and
then turn left where you will find a road directing you to Navsarni.
If you love admiring nature come by Konkan Railway
especially the day train and enjoy the lovely greenery, the hilly terrain, the rivers and creeks etc. etc. If you like to
snooze during the journey travel by the night train from Mumbai and you are at Sawantwadi Road station in the morning. An auto
will charge you about Rs.70/- from the railway station to Navsarni. There are state Transport Buses also available,
get down at the old I.T.I. and have a relaxed 10 minutes walk to Navsarni.
Exact Location: Behind the Jail is
the Medical Mission convent. Soon after the convent turn to the right and you will find the road named Fr. Gabriel D'Silva
road. Walk along the road, the slope will make your walk easier, hop over the speed breaker and then carry yourself for
another 30 metres and you will find the gate of Navsarni Pastoral Centre. Feel at home
